RTRP Test Results

(NATP) We reported in the past that the Return Preparer Office (RPO) stated the RTRP test results would not be available until hopefully early March. This caused some confusion as test takers received a letter from Prometric stating they would receive their results in 60 days. However, Prometric is now emailing test takers the following:

Dear Candidate:

You recently took the IRS Registered Tax Return Preparer Test at a Prometric Test Center. You should expect to receive your score report via mail in early March.

A sufficient volume of tests is required to determine a statistically valid passing score. The score setting process was delayed until a sufficient number of tests were administered. We apologize for the delay.
