It works if you are willing to follow the program diligently. I am making a few hundred a month by following this program in a few niches after 2 months. It certainly takes time and effort but it is worth it.

  12. With havin so much written content do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright infringement?

My site has a lot of exclusive content I’ve either created myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my permission. Do you know any techniques to help stop content from being ripped off? I’d certainly appreciate it.

    • rknecht says:

Over the years we have had some incidents but with each we were able to reach out and address the situation in a friendly and professional manner. Personally as long as the citation and link exists to the original source most of the concerns are eliminated.

  13. Isela says:

I would like to know if this mentorship uses other methods other then the ones that come w/ the professional bookkeeper program. (all the different letters) I wouldn’t want to re purchase something I already have.

    Thank you

    • rknecht says:

Great questions Isela. The answer is a resounding “YES” but to receive the coaching the individual must be a student of either the Professional Bookkeeper and/or Universal Practice Builder programs. The master coaching builds off of the instructions there and more. It is in the coaching that we also develop new methods that we are later able to introduce into the programs in future updates. I would encourage you to call 866-476-4521 and ask for Scott to see if you are eligible for a free consultation.

  14. Jen Phillips says:

    Hello,
I am considering the Universal Accounting course including the marketing portion. I am curious about a few things. Would it require a lot of cold calling? Or visiting businesses trying to sell my services in person? Why would someone hire me to manage their business’ finances if I have no experience, even if I’m certified? How assertive would I need to be to execute your marketing strategies? I have tried sales and marketing for an online business I participated in, and I discovered I was not only very uncomfortable with marketing, but definitely not very good at it. Could you give me an idea of what kinds of marketing techniques you instruct or what they entail?

    Thank you!
    Jen

    • rknecht says:

      Hi Jen

After more than 30 years of marketing accounting services, helping start and build accounting firms, Universal has identified many inexpensive and proven methods to market and acquire clients. Because each of us are different we teach you the various efforts and with the help of your coach implement those best suited for you, the services you offer and your area. It would be expected that in some areas you will be pushing your comfort zone but it will be for good reason.

A good place to start would be here – when you have some time I would encourage you to view this online video:

      Best Wishes

      Roger

    • Clay Neves says:

Hey, Jen, Clay Neves here. Roger has recently asked me to help reply and I came across your comment and wanted to respond though it’s several months old. I can see why you may think it’s a bit overwhelming to get someone to turn over their business’s finances to you if you have not experience, but that is not really what you’re asking them to do. What you are proposing to the business owner is this:
      – I will make sure your bookkeeping systems are up and keeping accurate records of your financial transactions, just give me the raw paperwork, and I’ll get it organized and in to your system so you don’t have to.
      – I will make sure that we get accurate and up-to-date-reports from your accounting system.
      – I will make sure to consult with you on what the reports are indicating so you can understand your business’ financial situation and make the best decisions as a business owner on how to increase your profitability and equity.

They may invite you to pay their bills or have other access to their accounts or finances, but otherwise, that’s not really what you’re seeking.

As far as experience, you will be taken through 11 different businesses during your Professional Bookkeeper training and doing the accounting for them. Think of them as your first 11 clients, in a way.

Just remember that most small business owners you will speak with won’t know as much as you do about small business accounting after you finish the course and have your certification. Their knowledge will probably be much more narrow as well.

Depending on where you are now, you may have already found out how valuable you are to them.
